He owns Bellet vineyard <em>Clos Nicea<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The launch was packed, attended by dozens of locals &#8211; many of whom evidently knew Olivier Bettati &#8211; with a festive atmosphere. Each Bellet domaine had a stand where visitors could taste its wine.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_21\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21\" style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/belletwine.com\/2012\/11\/24\/new-book-on-bellet\/olympus-digital-camera\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-21\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-21\" title=\"Olivier Bettati at the launch of his book\" alt=\"Olivier Bettati at the launch of his book\" src=\"http:\/\/belletwinedotcom.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/11\/pb241709.jpg?w=224\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-21\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Olivier Bettati at the launch of his book<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The book is big, full of colour photos, descriptions of the region of Bellet, wine-making, details of the vineyards, interviews with friends and their favourite local food and recipes. It is full the author&#8217;s love for the city of Nice &#8211; <em>Nissa la Bella<\/em>\u00a0&#8211; and of his interest in its wine and food.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style:inherit;line-height:1.625;\">This is very much a &#8216;coffee table&#8217; book &#8211; with two thirds of its pages taken up with photographs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Bellet, un vignoble dans la ville : Balade dans le patrimoine oenologique et gastronomique Ni\u00e7ois<\/em>,\u00a0published by Verlhac Editions, Paris.
